Liz Maugans is a Cleveland-based visual artist, curator, educator, and arts advocate with more than 30 years of experience supporting artists and building creative communities throughout Northeast Ohio. She is full time faculty lecturer and a Haddad Arts Mentor at Cleveland State University. Maugans is of-founder and former Director of YARDS Projects and Curator of the Dalad Collection. Maugans is co-founder and former Executive Director of Zygote Press, (co-founder) Collective Arts Network (CAN Journal), and co-convener of the Artist Bridge Coalition. She has organized numerous exhibitions and community-based initiatives and helped launch The Quest, a grassroots arts collective activating creative, participatory intersections in NEO. . Maugans is represented by Hedge Gallery in Cleveland.
